Candidates for Professorship in any of the Faculties and Programmes advertised should possess a good Honours Degree and a PhD in any area of the field of study. In addition, a minimum of ten (10) years teaching and research experience in a University or comparable institution, evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and attendance of learned conferences are required. The candidate must also have a demonstrable capacity for providing academic leadership in the relevant field of study. The candidate must be computer literate. As a Research & Innovation intensive University, our prospective Professors must provide clear evidence of capacity for grant attraction and mentorship.

As in i.) above, but with a minimum of eight (8) years teaching and research experience in a University or comparable institution.

Senior Lecturer CONUASS 05
Candidates for the position of a Senior Lecturer in any of the Faculties and Programmes advertised should possess a good Honours Degree and a PhD in any area of the field of study. In addition, a minimum of five (5) years teaching and research experience in a University or comparable institution, evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and attendance of learned conferences are required.

Lecturer I/II CONUASS 04/03
Candidates for the position of Lecturer I/II in any of the Faculties and Programmes advertised should possess a good Honours Degree and a PhD in any area of the fields of study. In addition, a minimum of three (3) years (except for L II) teaching and research experience in a University or comparable institution, evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and attendance of learned conferences are required. For candidates applying for the post of Lecturer II, a high flier with a Master, may be considered.

Assistant Lecturer CONUASS 02
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any area of the field of study advertised with a minimum of second class and Masters’ Degree (with thesis) in such fields of study with at least 60% or 3.5 CGPA on a 5-point scale obtained from a recognised University. Publications in reputable journals, attendance at learned conferences and evidence of registration for PhD would be added advantages.

Senior Librarian/Librarian I CONUASS 05/04
Candidates should possess a good Honours Degree and a Masters’ degree in Library Studies/Library and Information Science with a minimum of six (6) years for Senior Librarian and three (3) years for Librarian I. Professional Librarian experience in a University or comparable institution. Possession of a PhD will be an added advantage. There must be evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals and attendance of learned conferences. Candidates must be certified by the Librarians’ Registration, etc. Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
